Valentina del Campo Escárate (Amapola del Campo), emerged as an artist due to the death of her father whom she saw as the love of her life. To channel this absence, her husband gifted her oils and canvases to help express her pain. With the passage of time, brushstrokes and colours gave life to an intimate space where loss transmutes into constant encounters.
