My work "LIGHT IN THE NIGHT" was inspired by a wonderful night on the banks of the Danube.
I tried to put the experience on canvas in an unusual way. The extremes inspired, like a play of light and darkness.
This abstract painting colourfully depicts every moment of the night and hides objects in its texture under the cover of night.
GOLD symbolises the light of the moon and stars, and makes the invisible visible. BLACK is the darkness that hides the area.
RED is the reflected light on the waves of the river. WHITE is the approach of dawn, and the promise of a beautiful day.
This painting is both challenging and flirty, yet elegantly princely and brilliantly festive, and the whiteness of dawn is restrained and virgin, and the overall effect is stunning.
