The artwork “Connections” is a triptych painted with acrylics, primarily in red, green, yellow, and black. The swirls and bursts of color reveal the emotions that reside within each of us, swirling and finding various outlets. Strings, also in different colors and lengths, are attached at various heights throughout the triptych. They symbolize the bonds that connect us with others—stronger/weaker, closer/farther, fleeting acquaintances, blood ties, or love.
