This April marks the start of a new chapter in life. In Japan, it is a month of meetings and partings, with many people finding themselves in new environments, especially those entering the workforce or starting a new school year. It is also a month when people struggle with stress and the gap between ideals and reality, moments of dreams and hopes, setbacks and stress, introspection, and anxiety. I have composed this work using a graphical and psychedelic visual style to capture the chaos unique to Japan during this month of rapidly shifting emotions. To express the uncertainty of the future, I have given the entire piece a noisy, textured finish.
