I was born in New York in 1970 and have spent the last 26 years liv-ing with my family in Chicago, Illinois.
My grandmother introduced me to painting and sculpture in her basement studio when I was a child,
and I have been making art ever since. I am mostly a portrait artist, working in oil and acrylic paints. To
me, the face is a personal landscape, and I strive to capture the to-pography of a mood, outlook, or state
of mind at a point in time. My goal is to create art that is genuine; work that is honest and personal.
