Description:
In this series of paintings, when transferring the sketch onto the canvas, I first imagine the space I want to plan on the canvas and then draw it out. After finishing the drawing, I use a ruler to straighten the lines and measure the distance between each point. I then transfer those measurements onto another canvas. By connecting the lines, I create two canvases with the same composition. Because the lines are very precise, I use a more refined and delicate brushwork technique. However, in the future, I am considering presenting the work in a more intuitive way.
