Seosungkeun has been exploring the driving force of the primordial and delicate image in which the source of life grows and extends. For this, his paintings depict the joy of life flying through linear images that un-fold like constellations in which everything forms the trajectory of some kind of organism. Therefore, an organism presented in space as a dark blue sky formed by this image con-tains a dynamic and mysterious force like a birth of life. The five colors like yellow, blue, white, red and black that form the structure of this image are the traditional colors of Ko-rea. This basic colors that create the universe, which symbolize the sky and the earth, make this image that glorifies the birth of more fundamental life.
