Title: Incentive year: 2019 size: 60 x 61 cm technical: mixed media and acrylics on wood Description of paintings There is a source of inspiration in a seemingly simple stimulation of the nervous system. A stimulus is information that comes in through the senses, the toughts and the body. Both overstimulation and understimulation have an enormous influence on our stress level. To visualize what is happening internally I made an abstract translation. The paintings are made on wood with a mix of acrylics and different materials. This not only makes it interesting to look at but also very clearly stimulates the need to touch it. Artist: Esther Kroon
