The crying boy in the centre was drawn so that people who are currently suffering might be able to relate themselves to him.
His tears eventually became a sea that surrounded him, but many flowers absorbed the nutrients and bloomed as if to protect him from the sea of tears. The waves on either side are due to this.
The blooming flowers cheer and watch over him and tell him that his near and further future will be very bright. The words are in the language of flowers.

Eventually, the boy, wiping away his tears, will find himself in a field of flowers in the dawn light.

The painting is currently going around to nursing homes in the form of interactive art appreciation.
I would also like to tell you about a strange experience I had when I painted this picture.
When I was about ready to finish the painting, I saw a dazzling light coming through the picture screen.
The light did not subside immediately and I waited until my eyes could bear the light. I don't feel that light now, but it was a very mysterious event that I still remember.
