Bio

Jennifer Payne Jennifer Payne is an American artist who was born in Silver Springs, Maryland in 1971. At a young age, she and her family moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where she resided until attending art school at Ringling College of Art in Sarasota, Florida where she graduated on the National Dean’s list earning her BFA with an emphasis in painting. During this time, she also studied art abroad at the Art School of the Aegean in Samos, Greece and then had continuing art education at the Art Student League in Denver, Colorado. Since then she has won numerous awards in nationally accredited juried shows including a Master Painter Award for the Woman in the Arts “Genius of Women” juried exhibition and an Award of Distinction for the “Creative” Women Creating Art juried exhibition. She also won “Best Female Painter” and was awarded an exhibition at Mills Gallery in Orlando, FL. in 2019. Jennifer was named an emerging artist to watch by Southwest Art magazine and has been featured in VoyageMIA magazine, Orlando Style, and Tomorrows Art Masters. Today she lives and works in Orlando, FL and has been represented by galleries in Santa Fe, NM; Naples, FL; Beaufort, SC; St Augustine, FL; Estes Park, CO; Boulder, CO; and Orlando, FL. Jennifer is currently represented by Mark Pullium Fine Art in Winter Park, Florida.
