Mrs. Lizel Bovit born 23rd of January under the star sign of Aquarius, known for eccentric, arty people like herself, as is reflected in her approach to her works.
She lives and breathes for her art.

Lizel was born in the picturesque village of Tulbagh in the Western Cape of South Africa.

At a young age she already showed a fascination for bright colours and fashion and after having raised 2 boys she knew that the time was perfect to release again all the creativity she had learned and built up during her youth.

It all started off with decorating small rocks and repurposed wood to beautify her “permaculture garden”.

Lizel was on a passionate search to experiment with the abstract and contemporary for her work. She discovered she loved acrylics and mixed medium would be her thing and thaught herself how to best achieve the results. She started with pouring acrylics on small canvasses then moving to bigger ones, Improving her techniques by studying the abstract ways artists achieved this.

Her achievements up till today are works sold in South Africa, Belgium, Namibia , Mauritius & Dubai. She also has a non stop exhibition in Misty Mountain wineries in Stanford and some of her works are featuring in the showrooms of international renown furniture brand “Roche Bobois” as well as at “Gallery Direct” in Johannesburg She participated and was part of “Art Fusion” Dubai, that was started up by Kingsley Okpor, (MKO /singer/songwriter ) & has partner up with several other artists from around the world …

Right now and in the future “Lizel Bovit Art” will become a name to be remembered.…her art will become a worthy investment.
