Kay Gibbons Kay Gibbons is a multidisciplinary artist living and working near Oxford in the UK. Kay works in architectural stained glass , she draws and paints on canvas and paper and creates ceramic sculpture . Kay is a prolific artist who responds to a need to explore and express her creative energy . Her work is intuitive and abstract, constantly developing and evolving. Recently Kay has been working with watercolour and ink, impulsively exploring ideas which evolve with pen and brush . The viewer is led into a myriad of different interpretations and stories . Kay’s stained glass work is also abstract, responding to the space it is in using line , shape and form . For Kay the power of Art is to feel fulfilled and able to give and for the viewer to embrace that which is given. In that giving and receiving artist and onlooker are brought together in a moment of intrigue, discovery and joy.
