Coming to the River, 2020, oil and willow charcoal on canvas (8 panels), 60” x 120” (152cm x 305 cm) As I painted jewel turquoise, emerald, and amethyst into the river, I stepped back to discover the veil opening to reveal a coloring book landscape on the other side. Living in the present moment, we create reality color by color. Heart colors in a myriad of greens make fertile our dreams. When we wear our inner rainbow of colors, our radiance glows. A fusion of drawing and painting, wet and dry, the canvas is varnished and may be displayed as an oil painting without glass. Artist: Dorothy Fagan
