I am a 33 y.o brazilian woman living in Dublin since 2018. I started to develop my visual artistic skills from a very early age, specifically at 8 years old when I went to painting school for 2 years and I learned to represent nature in realistic vivid oil portraits. The studies were stopped as the teacher moved out of the city and I paused the oil paintings but kept my creativity flowing through home design sketches and biscuit craft. Back in Brazil, for me an artistic career was not a possible reality and what moved me forward was the deep desire to be free. With an easy connection with geometry, biology and geography, I immersed myself into studying nature and got my grad degree in forest engineering at 24 years old, when I started my experience working with cartography and territorial analysis for a great exporter of Brazilian goods. Five years in this career was enough time for me to realize that this lifestyle didn’t suit me. I packed my bags and landed in Ireland to give myself a life’s fresh start. I arrived in the Magic Land 5 years ago, since then I learned new languages, visited many countries, acquired an italian citizenship through my family tree, got involved in beautiful environmental work, met people from everywhere on this planet, became an entrepreneur and changed myself completely, in this endless process of growing as a human being. But yet, to express myself creatively is constantly screaming loudly inside my head and heart, and now I finally feel I am finding my way to free my soul through my artwork. Natural landscapes and its textures added to the harmonic but contrasting colors of the sky and water are yet my main source of inspiration and exploring my connection with it brings me hope towards the present and the future. Diving deep in the source of energy manifested in so many shapes and tons, pulsating as everything is alive, talking with each other, moving like a dance, flowing in time and space.
