Aman
Painter
Bio
Aman was born in a small village in India with an extremely strict family where creative expression was frowned upon and she was beaten her whole life for being different. During her life she felt alone and isolated for considering and for being considered ‘the black sheep’, so, she moved to New Zealand alone and, finally after 26 years she exploded. The only thing that was there for her was a piece of paper and a pencil... and this is what, now brings her here. She loves animals and nature and now her spirit is free to explore the rest of the universe. Her artwork expresses her feelings of oppression and universal connection. Currently she is experimenting in many forms of art like drawing, painting, digital, photography, sculpting, she cannot narrow down an art form as she is only expressing what she feels and what her visions show to herself.
