Description:
In "The Crematorium of Regrets and Abandoned Dreams" geometric shapes lying on an indeterminate and jagged background touch and intertwine, liberating the artist's subconscious mind which, uncensored, gives life to these dreamlike but meaningful images. For Terry they represents the bleached remains of us all, a pale foetus surrounded by the desiccated bones of our dried-up dreams, waiting in resignation for the final throw of the dice, the last illusion. A gap opening up in the lightning flash seas and, beyond that, the spectre of the Anti-Creation, the furnace that consumes all our desires and longings. And there they lie, these creatures from the Id, before they are sucked into the raging fires. All our dreams carbonised into dust and oblivion. Shadows casting shadows. “Did we ever exist at all?” Terry asks himself.
