The bold shapes in this piece are what captures the idea of the idiomatic expression “square peg in a round hole.” It refers to the unusual individualist who could not fit into the niche of their society. In life most of us encounter any experience where we feel like we do not fit in. The round shapes resemble the round hole were purposely drawn bigger that the squares to repre-sent a difference perspective about fitting in. It’s an encouragement that even if you don’t fit into a specific hole there are lots of spaces and holes that you do fit into under the sun. For everyone there is a perfect holed that fit perfectly.
