Description
This is the view from the second floor looking down to the first floor at my maternal grandfather's house. When I was young, I often sat at the staircase on the second floor, putting on my shoes while looking at the dimly-lit corridor and a corner of the first floor that was about to disappear in the distance. Because my maternal grandfather's house is triangular, it creates this peculiar visual effect. The yellow area is the bathroom, which feels particularly isolated and always seems quite abrupt to me. The black part is the staircase leading to the third floor, the purple-grey is the staircase going down to the first floor, the purple-red is the handrail, the orange-red is the wall, and the white is the floor.
