Bio

Glenn Richard Lumen was a happy child, raise in the forest of Norway, always smiling. He made bow and arrows and he climbed the trees. Then one day he moved to the city, and he was a teenager. Stopped doing sports, and hooked up with some bad guys, for some time. Then some dirty shit, until music and art came along and changed his focus. Years went by and he played pop/rock on the stages of Oslo and Norway writing poetry and experimenting with dif-ferent art-forms. Things was ok with him, and things looked rather well, until one day in his late twenty’s. He started to get a strange headache. Days when bye and it was only getting worse and worse. He stopped doing music and art. He stopped doing anything at all. He was in a lot of pain, and the mental conditions was bad. He moved from the City of Oslo and home to his mam. There he was lying in bed most of the time and the pain was only getting worse. He had a rope in his pocket in case he wanted to end it all. One day he found a tree. He did the rope ready. Climbed up the tree and took the rope around his neck and jumped. But the rope was not strong enough. Suicide attempt was the ticket to institution. At that time, he was lying in bed most of the time, and the headache and the mental conditions was only getting worse. He was thinking: It can’t get worse now. But it was only getting worse. His thoughts and emotions and anxiety were tearing the boy apart. He stopped talking and he was just surviving painfully. All he had left was the inner life. So, he thought he must work himself out of this. So, he started an inner process, working with the life inside him. The Demons that controlled him, he found a way to push them away. The pain was indescribable. At that time, he was sitting and laying down constantly working with his inner life. The years went by: 1 year, 2 years. And after 8 years of working with his inner world, some few changes came to him. He had not been doing any-thing in physical for 8 years, only working with his inner life completely crushed down in pain. Nobody thought that he would come back to life. But suddenly he woke up one morning feeling ok. He had not been feeling this way for 8 years. So, he bought some sheets of colors and start-ed to glue colors on paper. That was his first action in 8 years. He picked up his guitar again. And slowly he began to heal. The gluing on paper developed, and he started to paint for real. And the love of life and creativity came back to him. And he felt the passion of creating. He had relationships with every painting and drawing that he made. The love for art became an im-portant process of healing. He started to see friends and people, and life began to role again. He started to smile and laugh again. He was on the right way. And he was so tremendously grateful.
