My name is Liang Jiami, I am from a beautiful small town in northeast China. I have loved reading comics and animation since I was a child. Influenced by these works, I am very passionate about story creation, and I also like to use pictures to present fantasy worlds. After that, I began to continuously create stories in the form of comics. During this process, I gradually discovered the charm and power of images, and I began to learn how to use images to tell stories. In order to tell a better story, I chose animation as an undergraduate major, because animation is a combination of images and movies and can make many fantasy elements and unrealistic elements come true, which makes me think that animation, an art form, has no constraints , but animation is as much a sorry art as film. It is difficult for an animation artist to stick to the original idea, and for theatrical animation works, a strong team and financial support are essential. In order to maintain the integrity of the creation, I finally chose to create in the form of two-dimensional images. With the help of the understanding of the camera language of animation, I have a new understanding of the creation of illustrations and manga. Illustration is a very diversified artistic medium, and the amount of information contained in static images is no less than that of animation or movies, just like novels. Illustration is closer to literature than animation. Every line and color in an illustration can be used to tell a story, which is why I finally chose illustration as my creative medium. I have a soft spot for the art form of manga. Whether it is Japanese comics or American comics, they all have unique ways of expression that are different from other art forms, and I think the uniqueness of comics is that they can make the works more interesting and witty, thereby shortening the distance between the audience and art .
