Ciara Corscadden Hennessy is a feminist photographer, mixed media and performance artist, whose work explores gender identity, the expression of femininity and the human condition. She debuted her work in The Holy Art Gallery in London at the beginning of this year for the exhibition ‘Eternity’ but has been a practicing artist for three years. Her work, mostly digital and film photography as well as performance, is a deeply personal exploration of her feminine identity, through cultural and personal narratives. Based In Dublin Ireland she is inspired by the religious history of the land in both its celtic and roman Catholic histories. Her practice is intuitive and based on personal and collective experience.
