1981 Born in Japan / 2004 Graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design / I started pro-duction activities around 2010. At first, I was mainly producing figurative paintings, but since around 2017, I have changed my style to abstract expressions, and creating “works that show with color and texture” using modelling paste and mediums. Blue, which I continue to use fre-quently, is the color of the sea for me, and it overlaps the inner world of people, such as the mind, thoughts, and feelings, with the sea.
