Lydia Peinado I was born in a small town in Granada (Spain) and I began to have an interest in painting from a very young age. I strengthened my knowledge by taking private classes with a consolidated artist, Elena Laura. I spent with her several years learning and developing what I am most passionate about. During those years (1996-2000) I also participated in exhibitions. My life took a different path and I graduated in Economics. Along of several years my professional life was linked to Finance, leaving aside my passion for the beautiful art of painting. I moved to Bristol (England) in 2014, a magical city full of artists where I have found again what I thought was hidden deep inside me. Inspiration for my creations started to emerge again naturally as if it had never gone away. In this second artistic stage my work is based on the expression of the abstract including parts of realism or expressionism using acrylic materials.
