The turquoise seas, blue skies and golden sands are so near that you can touch them. In fact, the texture of the paint brings the painting to life, and you can almost feel the motion of the waves, while enjoying the serenity of a gentle but warm sea-air. Whether it is memories of a holiday you wish you could go back to, or that break you wish you could go on, Le Paradis, takes you there. Lockdown has forbidden travel so much for many of us and so, creating pieces like this reminds me of what freedom feels like.
