Bio

“I was born in San Juan de Pasto in the south of Colombia, next to the border with Ecuador, where I
grew up learning from different kind of experiences in the “Carnaval de Negros y Blancos” (declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO). I am a person with a sincere interest in art within a social and humanistic vision, which is integrated into the cultural development of the region and the country. Along with a deep interest in art, social, cultural management, heritage, love, and memory, as well as creative processes from the body, the painting, the sculpture, and social sculpture; with the creative capacity to reinvent images and artistic situations based on reality and their own imaginary. I am aware of my commitment to my performance in situations of artistic and cultural activity and I wish to assume a participatory role through art in ethical and environmental responsibility to build a better country and a better world in peace and creative coexistence.”
