Laura Alicia Kalk is a 23 years old artist from Germany. She visited an art school since she was 5 years old and studying arts at the university of Duisburg-Essen now. In may 2021 she made her Bachelor of Arts and almost finished her master of education. Laura Alicia paints in a wide variety of styles however, she prefers large-format abstract expressionist paintings. Color spaces play a major role in her arrangements. All of her works are inspired by the colors of her surroundings; whether it’s a movie scene, a natural landscape or the lights of nightlife, she always start constructing images in her head. The colors telling her the direction of the final work. No painting is precisely planned. She reacts spontaneously to the colors and materials.
