Bio
I was born in a rural town in Japan in 1978. It is a town with rich nature but also many fac-tories in the city.
When I was a child, I loved drawing and crafts more than anything else, and I used to wake up at five in the morning to go sketching.
My mother gave me a lot of crayons and colored pencils. I remember how happy I was to use them to draw pictures every day.
The light coming through the clouds, the wind carrying the smell of rain, the many shoot-ing stars, all of nature was my beloved everyday life and gave me a lot of inspiration.
Later, as I grew up, I began to spend my days away from painting.
I was busy as a single mother raising my son in a rural town, but I decided to move to To-kyo when I got my dream qualification as a nurse. My son works away from me, so I would go to museums by myself on my days off, and my interest in art grew again.
In February 2021, I visited a hands-on workshop on alcohol ink art and was so impressed that I had the desire to create more works of art on my own.
After taking a class in June and learning the basics, I have been creating almost every day.
The rich nature of the countryside and the beautiful architecture of the city have been a strong stimulus and inspiration for me.
