Born in Paris, Louise Bressange spent almost every summer in Provence in the Saint-Tropez region. She left the Paris region for Sanremo, Italy, in December 2017. After years in the fashion industry, painting became the means of expressing her sensitivity, with great freedom of creation, both stylistically and thematically. If color is somewhat the signature of her paintings, it reflects an urgent and profound need to project “feelings” onto the canvas, ranging from figurative to abstract, breaking free from any labeling. Her dynamic and positive painting unites freedom and creativity, pursuing the search for harmony and aesthetics through various techniques (dry pastels, oil, brushes, knives...). She invites the viewer of her canvases on a journey through color, inviting them to dream amidst sensations, with an original and ever-renewed perception. Art must remain a territory of freedom.
