It is the soundless time that comes after everything falls apart.
In that space—where both the world and myself seemed to dissolve—
I sensed a faint, fleeting presence.
This painting captures the subtle “tamayura” that lingers even within
blankness,
where feelings and words lose their shape.
It is a record of the invisible tremors and delicate signs
that appeared in the moment of stillness, collapse, and quiet rebirth.
Perhaps it is a landscape that existed only within me.


“Tamayura” is an old Japanese word that evokes the fleetingness of a moment - a faint light, a passing breeze, or the ephemeral flow of time. This piece explores themes of rebirth, floating, and drifting, capturing a sense of transience. Using diluted acrylics layered with care and textured with a hairdryer, I aimed to create a soft, hazy expression that reflects the delicacy of impermanence.
