Sophia Kammerer Sophia Kammerer, born in Landshut, Germany 1998 is an up-and-coming artist with work that captures her wanderlust in enchanting acrylic colour. Her flair for art shone through from a young age and studied art through to the end of her secondary education. Now working as an airport officer, her spare time is spent travelling the world soaking up inspiration to pour onto the canvas. Sophia spent many months abroad in Australia, Asia, America and Europe. She lived sustainably among the locals, immersing herself in the landscape and culture giving her a deeper sense of empathy that she channels into her life and work. After a difficult emotional transition early last year, Sophia took comfort in translating her feelings into unique abstract and photorealistic art. She found a way to disconnect from the pressures of society through art and travel gaining a deeper appreciation for how the little things in life can heal the soul. In Sophia’s words ‘nature is magical’ Seeing rare wild animals, exotic flowers, and breathtaking landscapes allowed her to connect with her art like never before. This young empowered female artist hopes that the sensitivity she has for the Earth and the people on it shines through her artwork and into the hearts of others.
