Marco Colella was born in Florence in 1986, where he followed a course of study centered on art and drawing. In 2014 he graduated in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, where he developed his personal pictorial style, deepening the dynamics between line and those and the complexity of their relationship in a work of art. In 2017 he focused his attention on Japanese erotic art, the "Shunga", appreciating the dynamism of the figures and the bold color combinations.
The artist's goal was to grasp its essence, reinterpreting its style according to one's needs, in search of a personal modern erotic vision. Since 2018 he has been actively collaborating with the Il Melograno Art Gallery in Livorno, participating in international art fairs in France and Italy and in solo and group exhibitions. Currently he has expanded his interest in fashion and design of printing on fabric, in search of innovative supports capable of stimulating and enhancing his art.
