Mariela Gastélum Mariela Gastélum is a plastic artist. She was born in October 17, 1977 in Culiacán, Sinaloa Mexico. She started painting at 7 year old. Then, she studied plastic arts at the Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa; she attended numerous painting courses while she studied law at University. Her strong passion for art, has led her to show her works even outside her country. She’s always looking for the union of feelings and creativity, she captures the emotions in the colors, leaving an indelible mark in the observers.
