Lions are one of the animals I often paint.
I was once told at a zoo that male lions, unlike females, do not have many opportunities to play an active role in their lives, except when they are having cubs. They have to leave their parents and mates early in life.
I drew this picture with the hope that these male lions will be in the spotlight.
