My intentions for this piece “Gold Sabbath” are to inspire the viewer to pause and observe the many different perspectives of life we have on earth. The painting depicts a cow in the centre with a sword and footsteps over top it’s body to symbolize the ongoing reality animals face as a prod-uct of human consumption and consumerism. “Gold Sabbath” is a chance to stop and ponder the way we live on this earth shared by so many organisms. Celebrate life.
