Sharon studied illustration at Cheltenham and Kingston, London.
She was a professional freelance artist for many years working in publishing, advertising and fine art and has illustrated over thirty books on a wide variety of subjects.
She works from her beautiful studio in Hampshire on her re-wilding farm, surrounded by a wealth of inspiring countryside. A keen gardener with a wonderful garden, wild flower meadows and wild woodlands there is a wealth of biodiversity. Watching nature daily and making photographic/sketching diaries leaves her never short of inspiration for painting and drawing. Each work initially sparked by her immediate surroundings and passion for nature. Making connections with her environment she endeavours to get her audience to focus on the beauty and fragility of nature through her work. 'There is always something new and beautiful to see if one takes time to look.'
She has been opening her Studio and gallery to other artists throughout May for many years in conjunction with West Berkshire Open Studios, UK.
She's taken part in many local exhibitions and has work in many private collections.
