Autumn is a self-taught artist with studies in Business at Horry-Georgetown Technical College, Myrtle Beach, SC, United States. Autumn started painting during lockdown in 2020, since then she has fallen in love with the process of creating. She had a psychedelic experience and was introduced to a new perspective. Before this encounter, she lacked the patience needed for the creation process. She would often get frustrated and leave her work unfinished. Her experience opened her eyes to a whole new way of thinking and viewing the world. She found happiness in the simplest and purest forms. As someone who struggled with anxiety, she found that painting was therapeutic for her. She focuses on finding beauty in the ugliest of places. She uses her most painful memories as fuel in her works. Raised by a single mother, she has overcome many hardships, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Autumn reconnects with her inner child and lets the child within her play on the canvas. She uses bright colors to showcase her vibrant personality. While her works look fun and bright there is always a deeper meaning than what is on the surface.
