I was reflecting about the meaning and purpose of psychology and art, and their undeniable similarities. Images and words are powerful. As powerful as our beliefs. I thought of paintings acting as road signs. We get lost, literally and figuratively. At times it feels as if our lives no longer belong to us, as if we do not write our own story. If we don't own it, we don't get to write it. If we don't write it, we have no control over how it ends. Walk as if you own your story. It's yours.
Textured and radiant oil painting. A very unique monochromatic celebration of a single hue that is
pushed to its limits so that it can be fully appreciated, where nearly neon green shines through the fissions in gestural brushstrokes of opulent emerald green. The former introduces bold passages that
lead the viewer's eye through a story. It creates a journey. It has always been about the journey.
