Hello, nice to meet you. My name is Poorvi Shaktawat and I’m a visual artist. My artworks are inspired by nature and composition of objects in my surroundings. I think all elements of nature are resilient; they are intuitive; they are gentle; they take their time, and they have a purpose. I feel like there are so many takeaways from our primary home- nature, it’s the matter of paying attention and appreciating those changes. I work with acrylics, watercolors, and oil pastels. Alt-hough I enjoy the process of creating on different surfaces and experimenting, I feel intrigued by how colors blend into the warp and woof of the canvas. I’m very passionate about how art can elevate, inspire, brighten the feelings, and occupy the soul. I believe an artwork in a space can have such an enormous therapeutic effect on our emotions and cognition.
