This piece is the 3rd of the “Seasons Series”. Blue Pthalo is my obsession. Many paintings end up being blue even if I try not to use it. I think it’s all part of the healing process of painting. Sometimes Blue Pthalo is hard to handle, but I feel good while blending it. This painting has been installed in my house for a while and may times I found myself touching it, I used a huge quantity of color, that took ages to get dried, but the output is that you have a sense of substance, that makes you want to touch it.
