Hillary, a Chinese immigrant, operating in the fashion world, is making a point of showing another facet of the Chinese culture. And she does it in New York, the place where she can express fully her freedom and creativity. Thanks to her nonprofit, many emerging Chinese fashion designers have been able to come to the New York Fashion Week, and she has done the same for young American designers, taking them to China to discover another market full of opportunities.
