I am a former fashion designer, arrived in France in 2008, and in 2013, I launched my artistic career, after working on several projects as a fashion designer. The reason I change direction from designing to art is because I think the border between design and art is narrow yet tangible. De-sign allows us to structure, to improve upon a product, all the better to meet the needs of the consumer. As for art, I don’t have to limit myself to create a work, I can create art with a total freedom, turning one’s back on the function of the object. My works reflect my daily, personal experiences, my past and my spirit, always in full evolution.
The Déstructuralisme Figuratif series dedicated to reconstructing form, a series of a joyful anatomy is built and deconstructed in the footsteps of cubism. The result of this new and imposing figure, show a certain spatiality of forms. Their juxtapositions induce the possibility of a new story. Despite the mystery suggested, the mastered and mannered trait is part of the figurative filiation.
