Welcome to my wonderful world of colour and creative chaos! My name is Tanya Bernier, born in Ontario Canada and I invite you to embrace the crazy and live vivid! Office professional and administrator by trade, all my life art as a whole has been a sort of therapy for me. Whether it's the written word, sculpting or the beauty of a blank canvas. My work had always been mine and mine alone. Painting what I was
feeling, letting raw emotion fall to the canvas and the images in my mind take shape before me. In my darkest days the canvas was my salvation. But insecurities and fear always holding me back from public view. Then one day I had someone refer to my work as Meraki. Meaning: to do something with soul, creativity or love; to put something of yourself into one's work. It was one of the greatest compliments I had ever received. And I wanted to share that with the world. Coupled with the boundless support of family and friends, here I am! Now my pieces can be seen from West Hollywood through to across Canada.
