This work forms part of a project created during the Belgian lockdown from their own per-sonal archive of New Scientist magazines. It was inspired by the death of their father from Covid-19 and encapsulates the process of grieving. The collages take material gifted prior to and during the pandemic and reconfigure them into something entirely different re-flecting the transformation that loss brings. The overriding theme of the project is what it means to be a human in a technological age and above all it is a celebration of the beauty to be found in science.
