DESCRIPTION
Inspired by reading Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy, which I have read 3 times. The images in this book are so powerful they never leave me. This painting was done on hard board using stencils, spray paint, cotton buds, brushes, and artists oil paint. The interesting horse heads were derived from antics of racehorses in the daily paper. Its partner “The Judge II” hangs in the Melbourne home of Australian writer Christos Tsiolkas.
