Bio

Bio:
A Canadian artist, from Ottawa, she uses watercolour, oil, acrylic, digital art and more. She is in-spired by the raw complications of both the human and natural world. By both the vulnerability and resilience of the mind and heart. The haunting depths and depravity of emotions and what it means to be human. She appreciates both refinement and hard edges, duality as she believes we exist in the world. She has been artistically inclined her whole life. Since she was able to stand in front of an easel she’s been drawing/painting. She’s been working seriously with watercolours for the past 8 years, oil the past two and acrylic the past year. She also works with organic mate-rials like animal skulls, insects, and butterflies as well as dried flora. Recently she’s been playing with ceramics. There isn’t a medium she’s afraid of and love to experiment and mix medias. She works out of her studio in Carleton place (just outside of Ottawa) and when not in the studio she enjoys going for walks (preferably in trails) and vocals in her spare time.

Artist Statement:
Art is to me the absolute most form of freedom and the physical representation of emotion. It al-lows me to convey exactly what is inside my head. It allows the inward out. As to not drown in my own feelings and thoughts. It is my lifeboat in the sea of madness. My ultimate self-expression. I truly believe life could not exist without art, in all forms. We wouldn’t truly be human.
