Joe Bezer Joe Bezer is an English artist currently living and working in Barcelona, Spain. Self-taught, his interests lie mainly in portraiture and figurative painting. His main intention is to focus on the individuality of the subjects, which are almost always painted alone and outside of any wider context. This encourages you to imagine and build a story around the subjects, something Joe finds himself doing as he is painting them. Having always enjoyed reading and writing fiction, the idea of creating characters is important to him and central to his work. Joe has exhibited and the United Kingdom and Spain, and when he is not in the studio he teaches at Arte Bar Bcn.
