The artist sees in art the most precious of the communication tools at his disposal, the truest and most cathartic. Direct, disruptive, strongly autobiographical, painting gives shape to thoughts and emotional nuances that no word could describe with equal frankness. The artist's complex inner world is present in every gradation, in the material elements placed on the canvas and in the plays of color which, like states of mind, vibrate with a thousand iridescent tones. The artistic dimension therefore becomes an elitist refuge where one can meet when actually offers no colors. An “other-when" that feeds and regenerates the light, letting it coexist and also deal with the shadows.
Art is not only an outward expression tool, it is also perceived by the artist as a means, a channel through which reality can be filtered, giving it shape within oneself. Through the ideal frame that contains details and "shots" reproduced on canvas, the artist's eye absorbs and internalizes beauty and learns to accept the sense of absence, loss, nothingness, giving it shape and color, matter and thickness.
