Ms. etui Ms. etui paints autodidactically, detached from her civil name, she creates more freedom for herself. Since her youth, she has been fascinated by the human psyche, especially by the polarities of mind and consciousness. She explores the interplay of desires, the stored experiences of the mind and the resulting drama of freedom. \"Each of us has our own inner drama and has to manage it somehow.\" Ms. etui's inner drama was marked by the tyranny of her late grandfather, which manifested itself in manipulative, choleric and a constant disharmonious behavior. For her grandmother, who grew up in East Prussia, was traumatized by the Second World War and suffered from mental disorders, as a child, Ms. etui always had the desire to want to help her. Negative thoughts and emotions crept into her childhood mind. These psychological wounds have driven her to turn her curiosity towards her own consciousness. Euphoric, she sees change as the greatest opportunity. Years of therapeutically oriented work, with people who suffering from mental disorders, have trained and intensified her view on the perception and observation of the mind and consciousness. Ms. etui often finds words empty and meaningless. \"Painting gives me the freedom to let opaque, blurred contexts - appear transparent and profound.\" Through various artistic techniques, the feeling of transformation both within herself and her surroundings are brought to life on the canvas.
