My journey as an artist has only just begun when I started painting with acrylics about a year ago.
However, this was not the beginning of my creative career. I have been working as a Web- and Graphic- Designer for about 10 years now. Also being creative has always been a part of me since I was a kid. After trying many different things, (I had a long period when I was drawing portraits with pencil and watercolour and played a bit with illustration and hand lettering) I re-alised painting just comes to me naturally - it is just flowing without any effort. I think this is what art should be – pure positive energy!
The first time I picked up the brush was when I wanted to make something pretty for my apart-ment. As it turned out, painting on canvas became the best way for me to calm and quieten my mind. Hence, I can see myself becoming an arts teacher or therapist in the future, as I wish to pay forward this “gift“ of satisfaction and joy to as many people as possible.
