David Ruban David Ruban (b.2001, Riga, Latvia) represents a new generation of creative young people born into a digital era fearlessly exploring the deepest parts of the human soul and translating their emotions onto the canvas. At the age of 17, unexpectedly for others and himself, David dived into the world of art. The trigger was a heavy feeling of loss and resentment that can be seen in his early works that are characterized by aggressive strokes and dark colors. Art helped David to overcome emotionally hard times and led him to continue experimenting with shapes, colors and textures. His works reveal the anatomy of each feeling and leaves space for interpretation.
